Setup Email or SMS order ready notifications

How to notify customers that orders are ready with email or SMS.

Go to Setup

Click on the blue button 🟦 that says "Positioning & PickUp"

Click on the middle tab on top that says "Positioning Screen"

Go to the Gray Box on the bottom right that says: "For Email/SMS for Orders Ready"

It should look like this

First, choose one of the three options in the green box when you want to notify the order is ready. The two options below are optional.

Enter the subject line for Emails.

Enter the message the customer will receive in the box.

Each ready order will show after the message.

If you are sending Emails and you are only able to send say 25 emails before your provider disconnects you, you can set the max sending to 25 and the time to wait before continuing to example 5 minutes.

If you have a special location that does not need a message sent, you can enter the from and to location here.

Exit to save.

Only customers that have a mobile number and have opt-in for SMS will receive the message and only customers that have an email and opt-in for email will get an email.

In the register menu in Invoicing and Pickup, you have the option to select the customer's preference.
